Empresa Generadora de Electricidad Haina (EGE Haina)

EGE Haina is a 100% Dominican public-private company that operates 1,000 MW from 11 generation plants nationwide. During this month of October the company celebrates the 20th anniversary of its creation, maintaining its commitment to the development of the country through the production of sustainable energy, and contributing to the growth and well-being of its employees and the communities where it operates. Its vision is to be a regional leader in sustainable energy development and management, as well as to develop more than 1,000 MW of new clean generation in the next ten years. Currently, a quarter of the generation capacity of EGE Haina is renewable energy. And next year, with the Quisqueya 2 plant operating with natural gas, 60% of its production will be clean energy.
